Job Opening: Hole Watcher – ADNOC Oil & Gas Project

Job Profile Summary
The Hole Watcher is responsible for monitoring personnel working inside confined spaces and ensuring their safety throughout the duration of the work. The role involves maintaining continuous communication with workers, preventing unauthorized entry, responding promptly during emergencies, and ensuring full compliance with ADNOC HSE standards and confined space entry procedures.
Qualification & Experience
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Hole Watcher, Confined Space Attendant, or Safety Watch in the oil & gas or industrial sector.
- Valid certification in Confined Space Entry, First Aid/CPR, and Fire Watch (preferred).
- Knowledge of ADNOC HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Good communication skills, alertness, and the ability to remain attentive throughout the assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor confined space entry and exit activities and maintain an accurate personnel log.
- Ensure only authorized personnel enter confined spaces with valid work permits.
- Maintain continuous communication with workers inside the confined space.
- Raise the alarm and initiate emergency response procedures if any unsafe condition or incident occurs.
- Prevent unauthorized access to confined space work areas.
- Verify that rescue equipment, gas detectors, and communication devices are available and operational before work begins.
- Coordinate with the Rescuer, HSE team, and supervisors to ensure safe confined space operations in accordance with ADNOC safety requirements.
