Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial health by managing budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The role ensures accurate financial records and supports management in making informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business objectives.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and financial controls to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and prepare management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, VAT requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost control.
- Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Support strategic planning, investment decisions, and risk management initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the UAE/GCC market and knowledge of VAT regulations is an advantage.
