Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. The role involves bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliation, and supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

Handle bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and petty cash management.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Verify, allocate, and post transactions accurately and timely.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT regulations, and company policies.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Process payroll inputs and maintain employee expense records (if required).

Monitor cash flow, track outstanding payments, and follow up on collections.

Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions.

Support the finance team in closing monthly and yearly accounts.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

4–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT filing.

Proficient in MS Excel, accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP, etc.).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
