Job Summary:
Responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect scaffolding before, during, and after erection to ensure safety and stability.

Verify that scaffolding materials and components meet safety and quality standards.

Ensure scaffolds are erected, altered, and dismantled under competent supervision.

Check proper tagging (Green/Red tags) and maintain inspection records.

Conduct regular site inspections and report unsafe conditions or practices.

Ensure compliance with company, client, and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, BS EN, CISRS).

Liaise with scaffolding supervisors, safety officers, and site management for safe operations.

Provide guidance and training to workers on proper scaffold use and safety.

Prepare and submit inspection reports and documentation to HSE or site management.

Investigate scaffold-related incidents or near misses and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / Technical Certificate in Engineering or Safety.

Certified Scaffolding Inspector (CISRS, OSHA, or equivalent).

3–8 years of experience in scaffolding works within construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.

Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, load calculations, and safety regulations.

Good communication and observation skills.
