Job Summary:

The Cupola Leadman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all operations of the cupola melting section. This includes overseeing the melting process, maintaining furnace parameters, ensuring safe working conditions, and achieving production targets with consistent metal quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the cupola furnace operation team.

• Ensure safe, efficient, and continuous cupola melting processes.

• Monitor furnace temperature, charge materials, and maintain desired metal composition.

• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams for smooth workflow.

• Conduct daily inspections and ensure proper maintenance of cupola and related equipment.

• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company HSE policies.

• Record production data and report deviations or breakdowns to supervisors.

• Train and guide helpers and operators in cupola operations.

• Maintain quality standards as per company and customer specifications.

• Assist in planning and scheduling of cupola operations for optimal output.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in cupola or foundry operations, preferably in the Oil & Gas or heavy manufacturing sector.

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of cupola melting process and metallurgy.

  • Familiarity with safety protocols and industrial furnace operation.

  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate team activities.
